Introdução

Ele criou a base da industrialização: em alguns anos, o motor a vapor patenteado por Watt em 1769, se transformou no equipamento mais importante para o trabalho em fábricas e minas. Ele foi seguido pela lâmpada incandescente, o telefone e em 1876, o motor de ciclo de quatro tempos que revolucionou o transporte. Cerca de cem anos depois, o microchip foi inventado, sem o qual e era digital não seria possível.
