Criação

Aton estava completamente sozinho portanto ele se acasalou com a sua própria sombra dando vida a um filho, Shu e vomitando uma filha, Tefnut. Shu representava o ar e Tefnut a Chuva. Aton separou-se de seus filhos mas finalmente se juntou a eles novamente, chorando de alegria. Suas lágrimas caíram no chão e se tornaram homens e assim começou a criação do mundo. Shu e Tefnut tiveram dois filhos – Geb, o deus da terra e Nut, deusa do céu. Eles, em troca, tiveram quatro filhos: Ísis, Seth, Nephthys e Osíris, o primeiro rei.
